Frequently asked questions
How long should a title tag and meta description be?
Keep titles under ~60 characters and descriptions under ~160 so Google does not truncate them. This tool shows live counts as you type.
What size should the og:image be?
1200×630 pixels is the standard. Keep important content centred — platforms crop differently, and images under 300×157 may not display at all.
Do meta keywords still matter?
No. Google has ignored the keywords meta tag since 2009, which is why this generator does not produce one.
Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter Card tags?
Mostly yes. X/Twitter falls back to Open Graph if Card tags are missing, but including twitter:card ensures the large-image layout, and other platforms rely on OG.
